Artist’s Statement

As a modern contemporary artist, I find endless inspiration in the vibrant colors and intricate shapes of nature. Drawing from photos taken during my travels in Canada, I aim to capture the world's beauty in my oil paintings. What initially draws me to a particular scene are the captivating shapes and shadows created by various lighting conditions. I translate these elements onto canvas using short, square, angular brushstrokes. This technique imparts a unique and dynamic quality to my work, setting it apart. Nature serves as my greatest muse, fuelling my creativity and driving me to create art that celebrates its wonders.
